Saturday night recap.

For our last game of the season, several Golaso members only had one thing on their minds:





And they must have used The Secret, because they followed through. Devin, Damen, Chris and Jeff all scored 2 goals each in Golaso's 11-1 victory. Goals were also scored by Marie, Amy T., and Jen D.

The Brothers D shared goaltending duties, allowing each of them the opportunity to fulfill their hopes and dreams of 2 goals each.

It was a stellar end to Golaso's 3rd season.

It's Friday night!

Saturday night recap.

On Saturday night, Golaso won 2-0. Goals were scored by Brandon and also by Jeff E, with a lovely assist by Chris. Devin discovered the hidden goalie in himself, and played a solid game as keeper. He even ran down the field in an ode to Damen, who was recovering from a strong showing in a bike race earlier in the day.

Golaso members present included: Carrie, Jen M., Amy W., Marie, Jen D., Jeff E., Jeff M., Chris, Brandon, and Devin.

Golaso fans present included: Bill, Mr. and Mrs. D., Jessica, and Jessica's friend.

With such a solid victory, there was only one thing to do to celebrate: sing.

Chris started off the night with a beautiful ode to his car.

Then Brandon took the stage....and stole the hearts of everyone in the bar. It was better than Journey, Heart, and Cheap Trick playing at the same time.

Jeff and the rest of Golaso has spent the week studying the list of karaoke songs. Is this a hint of things to come tonight? Yes, yes it is.

Saturday night recap.

Last week, Golaso lost in a 3-2 upset. But I ain't mad at 'cha, Golaso.

Golaso members present included: Amy T., Amy W., Marie, Carrie, Jen M., Jen D., Devin, Damen, Jeff E., Jeff M, and Chris. Goals were scored by Chris and Jen D.

Jeff, checking out his foot and amazed at its speedy recovery.

Not only was Jeff M. present, he made a glorious return onto the field! That's right, only 1.5 weeks into his 6 week recovery, this dedicated player played his first game back after his foot nearly fell off due to torn ligaments.

Chris, drinking away the pain of his red card.

Toward the end of the game, Chris was tossed off the field by an over-zealous ref who decided Chris needed a red card. I ain't mad at 'cha, Chris-- it just shows how much you care about Golaso.
