Last weekend was a big one. On Friday, a very special Golaso member had a very special birthday filled with enchiladas, tequila and dance-bowling.
On Saturday, Golaso had an excellent showing for their 2nd middle-of-the-night-game. Golaso members present were: Lily, Amy T., Amy W., Marie, Carrie, Leah, Jen M., Jen K., Jeff M., Jeff E., Adam, Devin, and Damen.
Damen had an excellent game, with only one goal scored by the other team. Carrie was an unstoppable force on defense. Amy W. wins the aggression award as she retaliated against a guy on the other team who was playing dirty. Marie took a hard fall at the end of the game, but continued on like a pro.
Goals were scored by Leah and Jeff M. Leah made her goal seem effortless and did a nifty little dance afterward. Jeff scored the game winning goal in the last 30 seconds of the 2nd half to bring Golaso home the victory.
Because of having a birthday and scoring a game-winning goal, Jeff M. is our MVP for last week.
Congratulations, Jefferson!
If you are a Golaso member and you happen to have a birthday, be sure to let the folks at Blogaso know, so that you, too, can be an MVP!
Until tonight,
GOLASO!
